Position: Customer Service Representative (Various Locations)

The primary role of the Customer Service Representative is to provide outstanding service to internal and external customers alike while providing callers with information on our products and services, resolving issues, and working closely with all of our business partners on a courteous and professional manner.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Handling inbound calls and emails in a polite and professional manner
  • Process orders and transfers in a timely manner
  • Dealing with inquiries and requests from internal/external customers
  • Liaising with Sales Representatives on customer orders
  • Entering information and coordinating services
  • Resolve customer complaints in a courteous and satisfactory manner
  • Conduct customer follow-up calls pertaining to projects, promotions, or back orders
  • Perform other duties or functions as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year Customer Service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Must be bondable
  • Strong Computer knowledge and data entry skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and have strong time management skills
  • Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a group setting or independently in a high-pressure environment
  • A sense of personal responsibility and a strong work ethic
  • Construction or Distribution experience would be an asset
  • Post-secondary Education a definite asset but not required

Position: Driver/Crane Operator, Surrey BC

The role of Driver and or Crane Operator within our company is to safely and effectively deliver goods to a job-site or residential area to meet customer requirements. We currently operate a multitude of equipment from 3 ton flat decks, 5 ton flat decks w/moffat, Hiab cranes and boom trucks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ability to operate transport vehicles, (Crane or flat deck) to deliver goods
  • Maintain accurate safety inspection records & delivery logs
  • Double check material on a truck to paperwork for accuracy
  • Check surrounding areas for potential dangers, issues or warning signs before commencing unload or un-cradling crane.
  • Safe Roof loading of commercial and residential products
  • Maintain weight compliances both for truck and roadways
  • Perform pre-trip inspections on equipment checking tires, lights, brakes, etc.
  • Contact customer service if the customer will experience any delivery delays or issues
  • Occasionally will be responsible to load own truck, must have a second set of eyes to double check load for accuracy.
  • Check to make sure all safety equipment is readily available onboard vehicle
  • Point out any damages or deficiencies to the warehouse supervisor at the time of loading or markdown on the delivery log and advise customer service immediately.

Requirements

  • Appropriate Driver’s License eg: Class 3 W/ Air brake endorsement
  • Mechanical Aptitude an asset
  • CraneSafe Certification required for crane operator positions
  • Candidate must be able to shift gears
  • Forklift Certification an asset (not required)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must act in a polite and professional manner at all times
  • Ability to Lift up to 100 lbs regularly
  • PPE must be worn at all times

Position: Warehouse Attendant Surrey, BC.

The Warehouse Attendants are responsible for accurately building orders, loading and unloading of trucks, receipt and verification of goods, timely service of customer pick-ups, overall maintenance & cleanliness of warehouse and yard areas, and to help enhance our provided service.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Safe Operation and Handling of all Equipment, Machinery and Tools
  • Pick, Stage and double check orders destined for customer pick-ups or job-site
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
  • Load and Unload materials from transport trucks or railcars and verify counts
  • Make sure all drive aisles, roadways, ramps or access areas are free of debris & snow
  • Advise customer service or Purchaser if short materials on order or low on stock
  • Re-stock inventory (FIFO based)
  • Perform daily forklift inspections
  • Palletize, shrink-wrap and label pallets for shipments or storage
  • Perform inventory cycle counts or spot checks
  • All other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

  • Warehouse and Forklift Experience an asset (not required)
  • Must have the ability to lift 100 lbs
  • Willingness to learn, grow and adapt
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to multi-task and adjust priorities when required
  • Able to work independently or within a group
