The Warehouse Attendants are responsible for accurately building orders, loading and unloading of trucks, receipt and verification of goods, timely service of customer pick-ups, overall maintenance & cleanliness of warehouse and yard areas, and to help enhance our provided service.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Safe Operation and Handling of all Equipment, Machinery and Tools
- Pick, Stage and double check orders destined for customer pick-ups or job-site
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Load and Unload materials from transport trucks or railcars and verify counts
- Make sure all drive aisles, roadways, ramps or access areas are free of debris & snow
- Advise customer service or Purchaser if short materials on order or low on stock
- Re-stock inventory (FIFO based)
- Perform daily forklift inspections
- Palletize, shrink-wrap and label pallets for shipments or storage
- Perform inventory cycle counts or spot checks
- All other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements:
- Warehouse and Forklift Experience an asset (not required)
- Must have the ability to lift 100 lbs
- Willingness to learn, grow and adapt
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to multi-task and adjust priorities when required
- Able to work independently or within a group
- Follow Procedures and Protocols as instituted
